Sexism on Screens

Dear higher powers of political video remix makers,

I want to stay on topic here; this is the girl’s room (--web platform?) after all. With that being said, I hope to put together a political video remix focusing on women on camera or sexism on the screen.

I have found myself watching many events on television or the internet and being displeased in the way that women are treated. Even more than that, I am displeased in the difference of treatment between in the women and the men.

I purpose to you, a stream of clippings of questions that men are asked, and question women are asked and then I hope to transition into the responses. I want to string together the responses that have reacted to these micro aggressions of sexism and then the responses that have succumb to it. I plan to target millennials as a whole for my audience of my remix. My evidence will consist of clips from mainstream events and individuals in pop culture that we are already familiar with, such as; the Oscars, Grammy’s, the red carpet, interviews. The already existing audience of millennials will hold true to my political remix. The compilation of micro aggressions and their reactions will exhibit the twisted sexism that is frequently overlooked on screen.
